Goby the doodle tried to stop a kidnapping and ended up with a sprained paw and broken memories. Fortunately, he was rescued by five other doodles, surviving in the wild after their people failed them.
As Goby recovered, he realized the pack’s essential jobs were all taken. He was getting ready to strike out alone when those lost memories began dribbling back, and he rediscovered some unique abilities of his own.
Goby’s story bubbles with humor and warms the heart as the doodles find some unlikely allies in humankind and tackle the mystery of the missing child. Will a crooked con artist and his low-rent thugs triumph? What do you think?
