Meet Penny Firth
When Penny Firth was in fourth grade (photo), her family had a dog named Blackie. He was the first of many dogs she has loved, and their personalities are woven through the stories she tells. Penny is a Virginia Master Naturalist who has worked in the swamps of South Carolina and the bureaucracies of Washington, DC. She is now retired from the National Science Foundation and lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia with her husband and standard poodle, Ida.
This website was built over many hours of excruciating frustration, and dog-years of mind-numbing tutorials. If you came to find my books or my email, you should be able to manage.
